CPE Credits - Reporting on-line to IMANET
Chapter Compensation Change:
A portion of the funding our Chapter receives from IMA is now based on the continuing professional education of the Chapter's members.
Rules for reporting Continuing Professional Education:
- The Continuing Education reporting period begins each June 1st, the start of the IMA
program year. The reporting period ends each May 20th.
- IMA will maintain Continuing Professional Education credit records that will
contain CPE hours Chapter members have earned from attendance at IMA-sponsored
national and regional education programs. IMA will credit the Chapter
for the number of CPE hours earned by Chapter members.
- Chapters will maintain and report to IMA the number of CPE hours earned by
Chapter members at Chapter-sponsored CPE programs.
- Chapter members will report CPE hours earned from sources other than the IMA
by using the IMA's web site to update a record of CPE earned during the IMA
program year. Chapter members who do not have access to the Internet are
encouraged to report their non-IMA CPE hours directly to the chapter.
Thus, the IMA will take care of reporting CPE you earn through the IMA but the Chapter depends on you to report the CPE earned from other sources.
Please report your non-IMA related CPE by going to the National website http://www.imanet.org/, log in and click "View/Report CPE". It's easy and it means $'s to help operate your Chapter!
