Networking, Dinner, and a Play

Please come to our Social Event for 2009. Bring your spouse or friend! Enjoy networking, dinner and a play at Second City Detroit.

Networking starts at 5:45pm.

Chicken Marsala

Sauteed chicken breast, fresh mushrooms and Florio Marsala wine.Served with house salad, side of pasta, vegetable of the day.

Salmon

Broiled Atlantic Salmon topped with tomato filet, garlic, olive oil and fresh herbs. Served with a house salad, side of pasta, vegetable of the day.

Gnocchi - A specialty of the house.

Homemade potato dumpling with a creamy tomato sauce. Served with house salad.

New York Strip

Broiled to medium and topped with Andiamo Zip Sauce. Served with a house salad, side of pasta and vegetable of the day.

"Kwame a River":
The Chronicles of Detroit's Hip-Hop Mayor"

 

This is an original play satirizing ex-Detroit Mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick.

The show features dozens of characters who will be familar to Detroiters, from Christine Beatty, Carlita Kilpatrick, and Mike Cox, to TV personalaties such as Carmen Harlen, Chuck Gadica, Huel Perkins, and Bill Bonds, to car dealer Mel Farr and attorney Sam Bernstein.

"Kwame a River" is written and directed by Detroit native Marc Warzecha, who resides in Los Angeles and has appeared on television comedies including 'MAD TV" and "Reno 911" He has worked with The Second City as both an actor and director.




Please, no walk-ins or pay at the door. Payment should be by check or credit card, and we must have payment by May 25, 2009.
