Tax Update: Our government
is trying to raise revenue with an election year on the horizon. Rebecca
Eppinga, Senior Tax Manager from Beene Garter, will highlight recent and pending
tax changes at our Chapter lunch meeting.

Speaker Background:
Rebecca has over 10 years of
experience in public accounting and has assisted clients in achieving their
financial goals in a wide array of industries. Her areas of expertise include
corporate, partnership, and limited liability company taxation. Rebecca has also
worked extensively in financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, start-up
projections, tax planning, consulting, transaction analysis, and tax
research.
Rebecca graduated from Calvin College
with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration
and obtained her Masters Degree in Taxation (MST) from Grand Valley State
University. She is involved with the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants (AICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants
(MACPA), and Inforum. She is also active in the local community through
volunteering and serving as a board member for various organizations.
