Speaker's Background:

Mary V. Bauman is a Member of the Miller Johnson law firm in Grand Rapids. She has been practicing law since 1986. Ms. Bauman received her law degree, summa cum laude, in 1986 from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She received a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in 1980 from Hope College. She is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.

At her firm, Mary Bauman's primary focus is on health and welfare benefits.  She consults with employers to strategize ways to better control plan costs and achieve human resources objectives in connection with a plan.

Miller Johnson has established a Health Care Reform Team to assist clients in addressing the multitude of issues arising in connection with the new health care reform legislation. Ms. Bauman was the natural choice to lead the firm’s initiative in this effort.

Directions:

The meeting will be held in the new Bicycle Factory Building located at 201 Front Street. We will be in Room 330. When entering the building, take the elevator or stairs to room 330. There will be signs directing you.   Parking is available across the street, at Grand Valley's Front Street parking lot.
