Welcome to the Michiana Chapter of IMA

President's Letter:

As I enter my last three months of my presidency I have started to reflect on where we have been and where we are going. When I started my presidency 2 years ago we were newly minted members of the Michigan Regional Council thanks to my predecessor Brenda Engel and our Board of Directors. We have built on that relationship as the next two Presidents of the Council are from the Michiana Chapter. As I reliquish this role I will take on a new role and that is the Presidency of the Michigan Council. Joe Nycum will be the President Elect. I would like to congratulate Joe for his election and look forward to working with him. Although the chapter has lost membership we continue to provide the services that our members have asked for and continue to be one of the top chapters in the country. For a chapter our size that is a major accomplishment. Brenda Engel has increased our connection with the local students and has made major strides and reaching them through the Student Conference. The Conference will be held on April 5th and I think we have again come up with some great topics. We hope to see all of you there. I am very satisfied with where we stand and as Grant Williams takes over the reins I believe we will continue to see success. Thank you all for putting your trust in me and for everything you do for the Michiana Chapter.
