President's Message:  John Engel, Council President 2013-2014

I cannot believe that almost 4 months have gone by since my last letter.  We have gone from 80 + degrees every day to the 50’s. Obviously fall is here!   Now that our Fall Conference is over, I want to thank all those that planned and sponsored another successful Fall Conference. Accounting and Finance Professionals, along with College Students, took advantage of the opportunity to expand their knowledge and earn 8 hours of CPE offered at the conference on October 28th. The conference speakers were excellent.

Even though the conference is now over, there are still many things planned for the rest of the year and I hope that you will take advantage of what the Council has to offer.  We are here to help each and every one of you.

I invite you to take advantage of the many benefits that your IMA membership offers. Please reach out to me or the Council with any questions or professional needs you may have. I and the other Council officers are here to assist you as we continue the tradition of the family atmosphere of the Michigan Regional Council.  Thank you for all that you do for your Chapters and the Michigan Regional Council of the IMA.
